and their contributions
Significance to my professional life

My opinion is that all things help to shape a child. Once all of these things are provided, then the effects on children’s development are positive.

Significance to my professional life

It is important to have the trust of the families. A good rapport with the families makes it easier to provide the best services and information needed for the children.

  1. Michelle,
Yes , if we build that rapport with families, by assisting them when needed with issues that face them in the home. It will not only shape the minds of the kids but, the effect will be everlasting. The development of children should be the main focus at at school as well as at home.

With this code your stated that all things shape and affect a child. I fully agree and wanted to make the comment that I have recently had a parent who could not understand how her continuous use of profanity and violent ways affected her child in a negative way. I am currently in the process of "enlightening" her and trying my best as a concerned administrator that her actions will now and forever affect her childs view of the world and actions in it.

  3. Michelle,
I would like to wish you much success in the field of early childhood education. Don't let your dreams be just a dream, continue to reach for the stars and never look back. Remember every accomplishment starts with a decision. Peace
